The Case of The Light-Bearer

It had been a long night under the ash lights piercing   through his office window. A. L. Wright was grateful for the sunlight reprieve.  Squinting eyes made it difficult for him to appreciate the change in light. His senses told him that sunlight usually cast a consistent path.  Today the dawn light was glowing. Curious, Wright made his way over to the window. Nothing prepared him for what he saw.
